Are you ready to celebrate the success of the Erasmus Plus project "Women and Money" with the event dedicated to Women on the Move: the road to economic independence?


We can't wait to see you on Friday, February 23, 2024, starting at 9:00 AM at the charming Murate Idea Park (MIP) in Florence!


This gathering is not only an opportunity to celebrate the achievements made possible by the commitment of Euroteam Progetti and INVESTORS PORTUGAL but also to delve into the importance of economic and financial education for women.


A highlight of the day will be the roundtable discussion on "The Impact of Women's Economic and Financial Awareness" where we will have the privilege of hosting representatives from women's empowerment support services in the area: Elena Nanni from the coordination of MIP, Daria Dall'Igna from the Informadonna desk, Diletta Gasparo from EUROPE DIRECT Florence, Giovanna Focardi Nicita from BAN, Isabel Neves from Investors Portugal, and Luisa Baldeschi from Euroteam Progetti to discuss and share ideas on how to improve the situation.


But the surprises don't end there! It will also be the perfect opportunity to participate in a workshop led by experts Cristina BALDI and Maria Teresa Caroleo, where we will learn to measure the value of our work with a keen eye on sustainability.


And after so much knowledge and inspiration, let's end on a high note with a networking aperitif, where we can exchange ideas, make connections, and continue building a better future together!

"Female entrepreneurs’ glass ceiling is intact"





Despite progress made by women in the business world, the glass ceiling still exists, limiting their ability to rise to the top of their professions. This is particularly apparent in terms of accessing venture capital, as women entrepreneurs only account for a small fraction of available funds. Governments and asset managers need to do more to help raise the bar for women in business.

In theory, the challenges faced by male and female startup founders are identical. However, in reality, women approach change differently than men. Recent studies suggest that women have a desire to break free and be more self-reliant, and that this is likely why they are interested in entrepreneurship. However, some female entrepreneurs may lack confidence in their projects, so this study asked five of them to share their stories.
